Welcome to Burnley Orchestra, a musical legacy nestled in the heart of Lancashire. We are an amateur orchestra that has been enriching the local arts scene for over a century. Established in 1918, the orchestra holds a rich history of providing high quality music to the people in the town and its surrounding areas.
We are a registered charity and non-profit organisation that is dedicated to making music accessible to everyone in the community. We firmly believe that music has the power to inspire, uplift, and bring people together. Our talented musicians have a passion for sharing their love of music with audiences of all ages.
As a non-profit organisation, Burnley Orchestra relies on fundraising to sustain our operations and ensure that we can continue to offer high quality music to the community, now and into the future. We actively seek support from individuals, businesses and grant-making organisations. Your contributions help us:
* Hire orchestral music to keep the concerts varied.
* Hire conductors and guest musicians.
* Help fund the many costs such as rehearsal and concert venues.
* Support young musicians on their musical journeys.
Shown below are various ways in which you can help the orchestra.
